This term was coined by big game hunters, to refer to the most difficult African game animals to hunt on foot. Nowadays it's used by tourists, and tour operators, to describe the five that are considered essential to spot on a safari holiday.
You could be forgiven for answering "cheetah", which is surely more worth seeing than the buffalo.
